A bit about Childrensalon
Childrensalon are a British online fashion retailer based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. They specialise in high-end luxury clothes for children and have grown the family-run business from a husband and wife team in 1952 to a team of around 400 today.
“Since Childrensalon was founded in 1952 by Sybil Harriman, our vision has always been to dress children beautifully. This passion has grown with us, from selling beautiful handmade dresses and boys' suits from our shop in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells, to being the world's largest online store for designer childrenswear - still offering the same friendly service that you would find in our shop all those years ago.”
Childrensalon’s team of buyers carefully curate their range of childrenswear which boasts over 270 brands including the most prestigious designers, to small, up-and-coming brands.
There are now 13 members of the founders family working in the unique business which was started several decades ago. “We love the fact we're still independent. It allows us to keep our founding values, passion, knowledge and expertise at the heart of what we do. This is really what makes Childrensalon unique.”

What did Childrensalon want from their training?
Childrensalon pride themselves on their fantastic level of customer service as well as team morale. As a family-run business they have carried this supportive and positive attitude throughout their growing team.
“We all love working at Childrensalon, and chatting to our customers all over the world.” The Directors, Buyers, CEO and friendly customer service team have all been known to answer the phones, live chat and emails.
Everyone at Childrensalon shares the same aim - to be the best-loved children's shop in the world! As well as beautiful clothing, this means delivering the most excellent, personal service.
“We love our customers! They come from all over the world - over 160 countries in fact”. It’s important for every member of Childrensalon’s team to excel at their job and to maintain their positive attitudes so training is key.
What training did Go.Courses deliver?
Go.Courses have been providing the team at Childrensalon with a range of training since 2013.
They were a team of 50 when we first began working with them. Over the years we have conducted several hundred training sessions for team members, which has undoubtedly helped them to expand and build a strong team of approx 400 people.
Childrensalon have also won multiple awards this year, they have an excellent reputation and are going from strength to strength.
Childrensalon have benefitted from training which has ranged from Leadership & Management, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office training including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
