Wondering what to wear on the day? If you can swap your course for a different date or location? Or if lunch, tea and biscuits are served? It’s all covered here in our FAQs - though if you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, just give us a shout.

  • How long is the day?

    It varies depending on your course, but the day typically starts at 9am, and ends around 5pm. Your instructor will explain the schedule at the beginning of the day. There’s usually a morning and afternoon break, and – of course! – a break for lunch

  • What are the course timings?

    Courses run from 9.30-4.45 each day, although timings may vary slightly but your trainer will inform you.

  • What should I wear?

    Whatever you feel comfortable in. Many people opt for jeans and trainers, but if you feel more comfortable in smart office wear, that’s absolutely fine too.

  • Are refreshments included?

    We include refreshments for our scheduled courses

  • What if I have allergies, special requirements or mobility issues?

    Just let us know. We’ll work with the location to make sure you’re safe and comfortable.

  • Is the course authorised by the Vendor?

    Yes, all our scheduled vendor courses are fully authorised.

  • Do I need to bring a laptop?

    It depends on your course. For many courses, we provide all the equipment, and you only need to bring yourself. However, if you’re taking a more advanced technical course (particularly Amazon Web Services led training classes), we may ask you to bring your own laptop.

    This is because learning is often easiest – and most easily remembered! – on your own set-up. It’s worth noting that tablets aren’t powerful enough for these courses. Your confirmation and reminder emails will both cover exactly what you’ll need to bring on the day, and you’re very welcome to contact us if you have any questions.

  • What ID do I need to bring with me on the day?

    You do not need to bring any ID just a note of your booking confirmation details.

  • Will I get a certificate?

    Yes, all delegates get certificates after attending our courses.

  • I’m not based in the UK – can I still learn with GO.COURSES?

    Absolutely. Many people actually travel to the UK to attend our courses – we have sessions in cities all over the country, always with convenient transport links. If you would like help and advice with travel, please do contact us.

    You’re also very welcome to join us on a Learn Live Online course, though it’s worth being aware that all programmes are taught in English, to GMT / GMT + 1.

  • How big are the class sizes?

    On average our courses have 8 delegates attending, however, we do run some courses with larger delegate numbers but the quality is always maintained at a high standard regardless.

  • Do you provide in-house training – could you come to my offices?

    Absolutely. Here at GO.COURSES, we’re all about making it easy, so we also provide an in-house training service called Courses That Come To You. We can join you anywhere in the UK, and we also train extensively in Europe – sometimes even further afield.

    It’s a great value way to train in you have a group of delegates, even as little as 2 can work out more cost effective. And, of course, we also offer 1-1 training, with savings of up to 50% per person. Find out more...

  • Do I need to bring anything with me on the day?

    No, we provide everything on the day for our scheduled courses, so you only need to bring yourself.

  • What should I do if I need to cancel?

    It’s important to get in touch as soon as possible if you need to make a change. Take a look at our ‘what happens if I can’t make it’ guide to cancellations, transfers and refunds for full details of what to expect.

  • What if I can't make the course or wish to cancel?

  • What should I do if I need to change course date or location?

    It’s possible to change your course. Changes can be made for free up to 16 working days before the course start date. Take a look at our ‘what happens if I can’t make it’ guide to cancellations, transfers and refunds for full details of what to expect.

  • How can I pay?

    We accept all major debit and credit cards, PayPal, or you can pay us using BACS or SWIFT. If these payment methods aren’t possible, we can accept a company cheque (by prior arrangement).

  • Do you take cheques?

    If you can’t pay by debit or credit card, PayPal, BACS or SWIFT, we can take a company cheque. You’ll need to give us a quick call to arrange this. Remember, your course fees need be paid prior to attendance – unless you are an existing customer with an account – so it’s really important to leave at least 5 working days for cheques to clear.

  • Is there an exam?

    It depends on your course. Every course includes a certificate of participation, though some also end with an exam to prove your new skills. The best way to check if you’ll be taking an exam is to check the course details.

  • Is breakfast and lunch included?

    It’s best to have breakfast before you start – though tea, coffees and soft drinks are provided, breakfast isn’t. Lunch is often included, though it depends on your specific course. The best way to check exactly what’s included is to check the course details.

  • Will there be tea, coffee and water?

    Yes. Every course includes hot drinks, soft drinks and some snacks.
